The whole methodology is in the idea that young children should have a real opportunity to access high-quality cultural spaces where they can learn more about the world, thus strengthening the family and school work, cooperating in the development of citizens who can protect our planet and ensure the future of Earth and also thought that only by combining efforts it will be possible to build a more just and inclusive, with opportunities for all.
This project creates interactive spaces within cultural and social projects benefitting children and adolescents, who live in disadvantaged neighborhoods. In this safe space, children and the community at large will find the books, magazines, newspapers, movies, music, computers, games and many other learning materials. Reading Corner is intended to be a learning tool for the achievement of the MDGs. "Children should have a real opportunity to access high-quality cultural spaces where they can learn more about the world". Languages currently represented are English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
Having free access in an environment designed to target both children and young people making them feel safe where they can relax to learn and know more about the multicultural world in which they are inserted. Reading Corner
